Developing local integration strategies

In our project, we have identified four key strategic areas that correspond to different social groups and their diverse needs.

Social cohesion and local community integration

In this area, we propose a community mentoring programme in which trained groups of several volunteers will accompany families with migration experience for six months, supporting them with various aspects of everyday life.

Children and youth – education and integration

This area is aimed at people working with children and young people in multicultural communities. Through training and mentoring, we give teams from local institutions the knowledge they need to work with young people with migration experience and their peers, supporting local integration.

Adults – skills, the labour market and entrepreneurship

The activities in this area focus on supporting adults with migration experience in their job search and in navigating the Polish labour market through workshops, mentoring and a business Polish language course, as well as providing assistance with starting their own business.

Older people – an active and dignified life in the community

In this area, we propose implementing activities aimed at older people – language conversation groups and intercultural cafés that combine language learning with intergenerational social integration.
